Most interesting for it's thesis on how slurs become slurs, when they were often once completely acceptable.
Puritanism took over online fandom — and then came for the rest of the internet
The blog post looks at how the internet has become increasingly puritanical, with anti-sex advocates policing content and sex-positive content being censored. It examines the rise of the "anti-fandom" movement fueled by a moral panic and a lack of media literacy, and how this has made it difficult to have a healthy discourse about sex.
A debate about whether eugenics should be allowed in any capacity, and one in which I learned some truly harrowing stuff I did not know.
